Carrie from @curatehome_declutter_organise held my hand and was so non-judgmental and she walked me through the process of decluttering part of our house.

Carrie was amazing at helping me sift through the emotional vs logical attachments I have to the STUFF in our home, with no goal other than making our space more functional.

Carrie specialises in working with neuro-divergent people, breaking down tasks into bite-sized pieces.

Not about aesthetics, it’s a practical service that makes your house more functional - and two weeks later I can definitely attest to this!

This was a #gifted service in return for this review, but I honestly agreed to work with Carrie because this is a service I was curious about paying for anyway.

Highly recommend her work!!

I know I’m not the only one who needs reminding. It’s ok if your house doesn’t look clean and tidy and perfect! In fact, if people live in your house that can be almost impossible to maintain!
Also, privilege of being able to pay a cleaner well and truly acknowledged. My partner and I joke that it’s cheaper than couples therapy 🤪

We attended the Parliamentary breakfast for perinatal mental health, hosted by Perinatal Anxiety & Depression Aotearoa @perinatalanxiety_depression_nz

They put on an amazing event, with so many incredible speakers. Such a shame that the parliamentary representatives @matt.dooceymp didn’t stay long enough to hear them all or answer our questions in person (I wonder why!)

But we felt lucky to be there in a room of passionate people!

Shout out to Abbey @whydoyouparentlikethatpodcast for being the best travel companion - we had a blast!

It was also so lovely to have some 3D FaceTime with our mates Ally @entwined.parenting , Charlotte @phdmamanz and Hayley @theperinatalcompass

And what a reminder of how rejuvenating a little break from normal life can be… I came home so excited to see my own whānau and feeling even more fired up about this mahi of providing supportive spaces for parents!
