Nature Playgroup: Monday 10-12, all ages

The Imperfect Parents' Nature Play Group - for parents and tamariki of all ages to explore the outdoors together!

• Monday mornings 10am-12pm
• 22 July - 23 September. 10 sessions in total for the term.
• Cost per whānau: $100 for term, $60 for 5 sessions (to attend anytime during the term). 
• $5/session if you attend another Imperfect Parents' group this term. 
• Locations around central Auckland (including Pt Chev Beach, Pt Erin Park, Wellpark Reserve, Mt Albert Domain and Takapuna Beach).

The group is open to all parents, regardless of gender, or how many children you have. Payment is per whānau, and other adults/caregivers are welcome to attend with you or in your place with your children.

If you have heard that parenting is easier with a village, but weren't sure where to find it, this is the place. Nature Playgroup is a space for unstructured play led by your children.

Facilitated by Dagmar van Antwerpen, our Nature Playgroups provide an opportunity to gather outdoors every week with like-minded whānau. These playgroups help foster parents'/caregivers' confidence in supporting their children's free play in nature. We provide simple resources, and follow our children's lead as they explore the world with all their senses. This is your chance to learn to observe how your child is playing, how they are moving, who they’re playing with and what they’re interested in. See what magic happens when you stand back and let things unfold!

Enrolment in the group also includes access to:

• WhatsApp group for ongoing support and connection
• Private Imperfect Parents' Facebook group
• Other Imperfect Parents community events

If finances are a barrier at all, please get in touch. There are koha spaces available, which means you give only what you can afford - the aim is for these groups to be accessible to absolutely everyone who would like to be there!

NB: By registering for this group you are acknowledging that parents/caregivers agree to be responsible for the safety of their own child/ren at all times throughout the session.
