Service Description

If you have heard that parenting is easier with a village, but weren't sure where to find it, this is the place. Our playgroups are spaces for unstructured play led by your children, while YOU build community and connection with other parents. NATURE PLAYGROUPS Monday & Friday mornings. Northwest Friday mornings. 10am-12pm at rotating locations, updated in Whatsapp chat WATERVIEW PLAYGROUP Thursday mornings, 10-12 Waterview Community Hub Indoor lounge + indoor play space + fully fenced outdoor play space. NEW PAYMENT STRUCTURE: (Pay per whānau) $10 single trial session $50 five sessions $90 ten sessions $150 twenty sessions Can be used at any of our playgroups throughout the term. $5/session if you're attending an IP baby group in the same term. Nature Playgroup visits various park and beach locations in Central or Northwest Auckland. These groups are open to all parents (LGBTQIA+ inclusive), regardless of gender, or how many children you have. Payment is per whānau, and other adults/caregivers are welcome to attend with you or in your place with your children. Facilitated by Dagmar van Antwerpen (Central) and Carla Canty (Northwest), our Playgroups provide an opportunity to gather every week with like-minded whānau. These playgroups help foster parents'/caregivers' confidence in supporting their children's free play. We provide simple resources, and follow our children's lead as they explore the world with all their senses. This is your chance to observe how your child is playing, how they are moving, who they’re playing with and what they’re interested in. See what magic happens when you stand back and let things unfold! Plus, you get to meet other parents!
