ALL Imperfect Parents Playgroups Term 4

Service Description

ALL our playgroups are now FULLY funded, thanks to Auckland Council and the Ministry of Education! We still need you to register online for our reporting, but FREE to attend! Registering just ensures we have all your details - but it's not a commitment to attend. Register, join the whatsapp groups and then just come along when you can! If you have heard that parenting is easier with a village, but weren't sure where to find it, this is the place. Our playgroups are spaces for unstructured play led by your children, while YOU build community and connection with other parents. Term 4 groups run from 12th Oct - 18th Dec. No sessions on public holidays NATURE PLAYGROUPS 10am-12pm at rotating parks and beaches, updated in Whatsapp chats. Monday and Friday in Central-ish locations. Wednesday in North Shore/Upper Harbour. WATERVIEW PLAYGROUP Thursday mornings, 10-12 Waterview Community Hub Indoor lounge + indoor play space + fully fenced outdoor play space. These groups are open to all parents (LGBTQIA+ inclusive), regardless of gender, or how many children you have. Facilitated by Dagmar (she/her) or Oli (they/them), our Playgroups provide an opportunity to gather every week with like-minded whānau. These playgroups help foster parents'/caregivers' confidence in supporting their children's free play. We provide simple resources, and follow our children's lead as they explore the world with all their senses. This is your chance to observe how your child is playing, how they are moving, who they’re playing with and what they’re interested in. See what magic happens when you stand back and let things unfold! Plus, you get to meet other parents!
