Service Description
Gain confidence and feel empowered to deal with an emergency situation at home with your child. Relaxed, child-friendly, practical, baby and child first aid session facilitated by a paediatric nurse and fellow parent, Shrenika Solanki, director of Little Beat. The two hour first aid course covers infant and child CPR, first aid for choking and other common childhood incidents such as burns, head injuries, fever, seizures, home hazards and more. Includes practice on manikins and the opportunity to ask any questions. Babies and children welcome. Electronic handouts emailed after the session. A portion of your payment is retained by Imperfect Parents to help fund our koha spaces for all our offerings.
Upcoming Sessions
Cancellation Policy
If you cancel your spot more than 5 days before the beginning of the term you will be refunded the full amount you have paid, minus a $50 admin fee. If you cancel once the term has started, refunds will be negotiated at our discretion. (Exceptions are made for exceptional circumstances). If you or your baby are sick, we ask that you please stay home for the protection of the other group members. Unfortunately we cannot reimburse for missed sessions. If the facilitator is sick/needs to take leave, we will do our best to arrange cover so the group can go ahead. If we cannot arrange cover, we will endeavour to arrange a makeup session but cannot always guarantee that we will be able to do this.
