Service Description

We provide the simple, recycled play resources, you show up and hang out with other Imperfect Parents! If you have heard that parenting is easier with a village, but weren't sure where to find it, this is the place. Our playgroups are spaces for unstructured play led by your children, while YOU build community and connection with other parents. SCHOOL HOLIDAY PLAYGROUPS Thursday mornings, 10-12 1st October at Waterview Community Hub Cosy indoor lounge + big hall play space + fully fenced outdoor play space. 8th October at Waiōrea Recycling Centre, Western Springs. We will be based on the lawn just above the recycling centre, and the upstairs of the building. COST: $Nothing All attendees receive a FREE book/soft toy voucher to use at the Waiōrea Recycling Centre! These groups are open to all parents (LGBTQIA+ inclusive), regardless of gender, or how many children you have. Facilitated by Dagmar van Antwerpen, our Playgroups provide an opportunity to gather with like-minded whānau, encouraging you to step back and let your children play while you get to know other parents! We provide simple resources, and follow our children's lead as they explore the world with all their senses. This is your chance to observe how your child is playing, how they are moving, who they’re playing with and what they’re interested in. See what magic happens when you stand back and let things unfold! Plus, you get to meet other parents!
